- What is TurboShare?
TurboShare is a file hosting provider. We offer online storage/remote backup capacity, sophisticated uploading and downloading tools.
In general; TurboShare is Simple, Fast and Secured file hosting service to upload and share digital media for business professionals and individuals.
- Why should I use TurboShare?
Whenever you need to send a file that is too large for e-mail, TurboShare can help.
If you need secure remote storage capacity for off-site backups, TurboShare offers solutions for you.
If you want to access personal data from a variety of computers and don't want to carry around a USB stick, TurboShare is a perfect way of doing so.
- What kind of files can be uploaded?
All files that do not violate our terms of service or the laws of concerned countries. This includes; but not limited to files containing any forbidden content such as pornography/child pornography, virus/malware/trojan, racist media and/or illegal copies of copyrighted material.
- How long are my files stored in your servers?
We host your files without a time limit; provided:
1) The file is downloaded at least once in 90 days* (ie; Only the file that stays inactive for 90 days continuous will be removed to keep the server clean).
2) The file is not manually deleted by anti-abuse team on complaint (Make sure you read TOS before using the service to avoid such situation).
* Only for anonymous / normal account. Premium users' files will NOT be deleted until and unless it is deleted by the up-loader manually!
- Can I search for files other people uploaded?
No, because not everyone wishes to share the files they upload with everyone else. This way TurboShare can be used to share files with anyone you choose to, as well as keep it for yourself as a backup or to download from anywhere in the world.
- Can I download more files parallel / can I download more files at a time?
TS Premium Account holders are allowed to use 100 parallel downloads; when Normal Account (free registered) holders are allowed up to 2 parallel downloads and Anonymous users only 1.
- Is download accelerators supported?
Normal/Anonymous users are allotted only single segment download. For TS Premium Account holders an extensive server routines which also supports the downloading of segments is possible. Each file can be downloaded much faster in parallel; in up to 20 streams with the download accelerator. Please be aware that some download accelerator do not handle the download with several streams correctly and produce more traffic, which will be accumulated to your traffic.
- I always get a small file of (5kb or 7kb) instead of real file when trying to download; what should I do?
This happens for Anonymous/Normal Account users; when trying to download the file direct using some download accelerator software like DAP, GetRight, IDM..! We suggest NOT using any download accelerators if you do not have a Premium Account with us. Workaround: Disable clicks catch by download accelerator in browser!
- Can paused/broken downloads be resumed?
Only if you have TS Premium Account; Anonymous/Normal Account users are NOT allowed to resume the download.
- I am a Premium user; how can I get the maximum donwload speed?
With Premium membership you can use download manager, which increases download speed by downloading different parts of a file in parallel. In this way, maximum download speed can easily reach your maximum connection speed.
- "Download limit exceeded" appears every time I try to download and download is not carried out; what can be done?
The error pops when you try for more download slots than allotted by server for your IP or account. Please note that Anonymous users have only 1 allotted slot per IP and Normal users have up to 2 while TS Premium holders have 100 slots allotted.
If the error persist even when you are not downloading from your IP/Account; it is likely that you are accessing TurboShare via a so-called proxy server whose IP address is also being used by other users. The allocation of proxy servers is automatically carried out by your internet service provider. In order to resolve this problem, you have to deactivate the proxy server.
- What are TurboPoints?
Each time your file gets downloaded completely you get TurboPoint/s; which could be converted to Cash or TurboShare Premium Account.

- How to delete a file I uploaded?
To delete a file you uploaded you must use Delete Link that was provided to you after the upload process.
Registered/Premium users can use their file manager to delete the file; If you are non-registered/anonymous user and lost your removal code you can simply wait until the file expires so it will be automatically removed from our site.
- What is TrafficShare?
TrafficShare offers the up-loader to provide direct download linked file(s) for his downloader(s): The receiver can instantly save the file, without being a TurboShare Premium member. The cost for the accumulated data-traffic is covered by the owner of the file. You may prefer to check the tariff in your user control panel under "TrafficShare" link.
- Can I hot-link the stuff I upload?
No. Hot-linking is not allowed on any kind of files uploaded to our servers. You may prefer to use TrafficShare allotted/purchased for generating direct download links.
