Botnet DDoS attack! Delay in service regretted!

We are sorry for keeping you all on hold for some time last week due to massive DDoS we faced from Botnet. We are sorry to say that it took some time for us to revive from the issue we faced!
New detailed filter has been added to prevent such future attacks. We are sorry for inconvenience caused (on upload process) and is on alert that such incidents will refrain from happening in future!

Server upgrade in progress!

We are trying to find more perfection for the words fast and reliability!
TurboShare is now moving to a faster and efficient cloud server setup which could hold more terabytes of data and even more terabytes of data transfer daily!
Though bit ashamed; we would need to hold the URL uploads due to load reason while moving to new server for optimizing the new setup in a better state of art data center with different configuration. Yes; from today; all registered users "View Logs" will carry a detailed log on each and every points they make.
Detailed log will act as a proof to make sure all your qualified downloads are counted. User can view, understand and track the earnings of each day for last 3 months (log starting today) with a detailed structure view. An analysis on your log will also help you determine the best option to go for to maximize your earnings.

Compatibility Fix for Internet Explorer with Download Accelerators Added!

We respect your suggestions and try our best to make sure you have better experience with TurboShare.
Some technical facts described and cleared:
For some time we've been receiving couple of complaints from Internet Explorer users who have installed download accelerators to "catch the clicks".
Some download accelerators which are not efficient enough to "catch the click" the right way when used with Internet Explorer; initiates multiple download request from the single non-reusable download link; which render the download link useless. Result is a 7Kb file downloaded to system with text content "expired" instead of real file!
Although we've made this point clear in our FAQ; It seems giving out a fix from our side would be far better for normal users who are not much concerned about technical stuff.
Today development team made some modification to Turbo Download Initiator Engine (TDIE) to countermeasure this error and a test conducted on different browser and download accelerator combination proved it to be successful fix.
You need not skip "click catch" or disable download accelerator with Internet Explorer to download from TurboShare from now on. All other functionalities would be same and related to the account you hold.
We suggest you don’t go away with any issue you face with TurboShare; because we are committed to solve issues out and make you feel the ease of file uploads and downloads.
It was a long day for the team; implementing and testing the functionalities in different environment with new fix. But after all the success made the day with happy faces!

Integrated MP3 Player to Download Page!

Now listen to your favorite MP3 music just by clicking the play button!
They say necessity is the mother of invention! And here the only difference is implementation!
If you are free enough to read the implementation story; though bit lame; you can give it a check...
Carrying a data drive with our favorite MP3 music was not easy for the members of TurboShare Development Team and we were using the TurboShare service self-developed to upload the MP3 from home and download it at office to listen while working! Everyday clearing up the MP3 files that crumbled and cluttered up on desktop before leaving office!
Search for an alternative lead us to add a player straight to the download page and listen it online than downloading it to workstation! Some better brain added the details of MP3 file such as Length, Quality, Artist, Title, Album, Year.. to the download page and found it an extra cool mod for music freaks using our service!
Embedded audio player will be available for all Premium members and Normal free registered users.
To enable the MP3 player:
1) Login to your account and visit "My Account" link
2) Enable 'Embedded audio player' by checking in the box
3) Click 'Save settings'

Prevention is better than cure! Hand on Head is not the way of downloading from TurboShare!
To make your downloading experience more safe with TurboShare; we’ve added a new Adware/Malware/Spyware/Trojan/Virus/Worm Scanner Engine to the download system! And we simply call it "TurboScanner" just for its amazing speed in scanning your download in a most efficient way possible!
TurboShare don’t consider security as premium stuff and feel that it should be available for all members! So all TurboShare Premium Members and Registered TurboShare users; have the option to enable the custom scan button in download page; through their "My Account" link in control panel.
Take note that the scanning is NOT done automatic and you need to press "Check for Viruses" button on the Download page to initiate a scan on the file you are about to download!
Yes; at the end of the day we don’t call everything perfect and sit tight! Even though we update our TurboScanner Engine powered by ClamAV (http://www.clamav.net/) in a pro-active way to avoid infections from being shared or spread; it is most advisable to scan your downloads in your system with an updated antivirus you trust / rely on.
.. And we ended up with the same saying; Prevention is better than cure!

TurboShare now allows you to send larger files, such as photos, videos, presentations.. Etc; to your friends or family directly to their email address in a Simple Fast and Secured way!
Not just that; after uploading you can move your files to your existing TurboShare account or create a new TurboShare account to move your uploaded files; if you were bit late in taking decision to login/join TurboShare!… and not to mention many minor tweaks we did to make your experience with TurboShare better!

TurboShare now offers the possibility to provide the hosting of files; without the downloader having to be a Premium User; the file can still be downloaded straight away!
We are not complicating this anymore; TrafficShare allows the up-loader to pay for the bandwidth his file might make so that the downloader has Turbo Premium downloads!
Files marked under TrafficShare by up-loader can be downloaded without any time delay or CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) or compulsive AD banner an Anonymous/Normal account holder might face! and the download speed not a bit less than the Premium Downloads!

Secure Socket Layer Account Panel for Registered/Premium Users!

Yes; TurboShare now obey the rule!. All pages that contain sensitive information transferred between client and TurboShare is now done through 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer! No more worries on third party sniffing on your private data such as your account login and password, your email, your details on purchase of Turbo Premium Accounts or TrafficShare, credit card details,.. just to name it few!
How to check if https is actively protecting you:
1) Always enter the login page or other sensitive pages through links in TurboShare (Avoid external links from other site pointing the login page or payment page)
2) Check if the URL starts with https://ssl.turboshare.com/.. for your secured pages and http://turboshare.com/.. for your NON-secured pages.
3) If any doubt arise; click on Security Seal which is towards the end of all secured pages; It should pop an active certificate from the domain https://seal.godaddy.com/.. (GoDaddy.com; Inc (US))

Turbo Point System Added!

With TS uploads; you are rewarded every time your file gets downloaded. Collect Turbo Premium Points and exchange the same for free TurboShare Premium Accounts!
You earn 1 Turbo Premium Point on each full download your file makes. Any files of size 5Mb and above will be counted towards the point system. We do NOT restrict the point system as according to the country or origin of traffic. Be it an Anonymous download, Normal download or Premium Turbo download; you earn one point each for full download of file.
Some anti-abuse facts:
1) IP-File Check (i.e.; even if someone download same file over again from same IP; download counter might increment but points rewarded would still be the same. In simple words one reward per unique file per IP.
2) You will NOT be rewarded for self download of your file.
3) Incomplete/Halted/Paused download will NOT be counted.
